Paul Petrino is an American football coach who is currently the head coach of the University of Idaho Vandals football team. He was born on April 25, 1967 in Butte, Montana. Petrino has had a long coaching career in college football, serving as an assistant coach at various programs including Louisville, Arkansas, Illinois, and Idaho before becoming a head coach.
Before taking over at Idaho, Petrino was the head coach at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for one season in 2003. He has also served as an assistant coach in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars.
